Lock N Load Tactical

In August of 2010, Lock N Load Tactical opened their doors and instantly became a strong competitor, in the Las Vegas area, for tactical rifles and accessories.  The opening of this store was no secret as word had been spreading around the local firearms communities for a few months causing quite the buzz and anticipation.

Lock N Load is a family owned and operated business.  The staff is mostly made up of family members and friends of the owners Ron and Karla Cheney.  You can tell by the friendly attitude and joking around that the staff plays together as well as they work together.

Although Lock N Load sells a number of different tactical type weapons, the number one gun they sell is the popular AK-47.  They offer these rifles in multiple configurations from different manufacturers and they have all the goodies that go along with them, not to mention the most competitive prices in town.

Another thing I noticed is that while most of the other Vegas area stores carry Magpul products, the selection is usually somewhat limited.  I’ve heard more than one store mention that they have limited Magpul stock for one reason or another.  This is not the case with Lock N Load.  They stock EVERY Magpul product except for the PRS Stock.

Currently under development is a new website as well as a variety of tactical training courses, all of which should be rolling out during the first quarter of 2011.

Bought a Glock 19 @ Lock N Load and was extremely pleased!! My family and I were there for an 1hr because we had so many questions. At no time we ever felt pressured to buy or that we were wasting their time. The young gentleman answered all of questions and was very helpful. Great little shop!

Would like to take the time and say thank you to RON,HDI,LOCK AND LOAD.

Like to talk about customer satisfaction! Witch I beleive that lock and load has a firm understanding of!
I had receved a custom saiga 12 witch had some small bugs that had to be worked out!
and true to his word RON, HDI, and all the friendly people at LOCK AND LOAD were understanding on how to treat the customer, some other gun stores should take notes!
RON and HDI reworked the saiga 12 to run like a beast!

this gun is bad to the bone! Thank RON and all the people at LOCK AND LOAD!!!!!!!

Thank you for selling my little Bersa 380 last spring. I’m shopping for an AK so I’ll check and see what you’ve got.

I just had a great experience at the store, i went in for a belt and talked to two of the men in the store who took the time and didnt act like they didnt have the time to answer some basic questions (not just about the belt) they will from now on be my go to store

when i went in initially it was just to pick up a box to ship out my rifle that does not work back to Adams arms dealers, i asked lock n load employees to save me a box and a month and a half latter i finally got a box ;) i should have known not to purchase a firearm since a month and a half wait for a box was a little over the top but when i seen the 22 handgun by heritage that had a price tag at 150.00 i said to myself why not even though kentucky guns have them for 100.00 plus free shipping ! but i thought well why not i will pay the extra 50.00 and have it today instead of 3 days latter but when i took it to the counter after filling out all that paper work the price went up to 200.00 WTF ! i asked my salesman why and he said that my 22 was special since it came with an extra 22 mag cylinder, then why not tell me that before i get through all that paper work ? i asked the employee to correct the price and he said he would ask the owner “oh good i thought” turns out the owner was sitting in the back and would not even come out to speak with me face to face he had his employee come to tell me that he will not budge on the 200.00 which is way over priced ! if this stores stays in busyness it will because there is no lack of uneducated customers that do not know any better as i have learned the hard way. little did they know this week i will be getting a new sig sauer 556 and an ak, and i am sure glad it will not be from lock and load because i will save money. none of my friends nor family will be purchasing anything from lock and load.

So let me make sure I’m understanding this correctly. You bought a rifle and failed to keep the box. Then you asked LNL for a free box which took them awhile to get for you and you’re crying like a little bitch because of that? Really?

Now lets talk about the Heritage .22. In your rant you mention “if this stores stays in busyness it will because there is no lack of uneducated customers…”

Jesus dude, have you even read that sentence let alone the rest of your rant. Clearly you’re not a product of a very high educational standard or you would know how to spell and not to buy shitty guns in the first place.

LNL is known to have high prices and based on their location they have no trouble keeping the clientele who will pay them.

Lastly, I’m thinking your bullshit complaints would be better served on their review page rather than a spotlight page. I guess we’ll leave that to the more educated types though.

so you are the pussy owner that would not come talk to me face to face? it figures you would decide to talk to me via social media lol. either way the difference between me and you is you run your mouth from a distance as a coward should and hide behind a computer like the punk that you are. I am ready to talk to you directly, as i feel there is no need to hide or get egos involved. if you got a problem with my customer review why not tell me to my face?

The owner who usually works in the back is a lady. I can also tell you that John G is not affiliated with LNL at all. While I appreciate you having an opinion and sharing it here, I feel the way you have gone about things is out of line. My guess is you acted similarly in the store and that most likely has something to do with how the situation was handled.

From the way I read your remarks, your are making borderline threats and definitely harassing the store based on a reply made by somebody else.

People with anger management issues give gun owners a bad name. Please keep this in mind as you fill the Internet with your rants about LNL.
