Old Town, ME – October 12, 2011 – MGI, the manufacturers of the highly versatile Hydra Modular weapon system, proudly announces the launch of their first large scale contest, “The Bad, The Bold and The MGI Buffer Video Response Contest.”  Kicked off through their YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter pages on October 3rd, 2011, the contest calls on all fans to submit a video response featuring their gun with an MGI Buffer with D-Ring installed.  One lucky winner will receive an MGI Hydra Rifle with a retail value of $1,250.  The contest closes December 31st, 2011 at 11:59 pm EST.  It is open to all responsible adults over 18 years of age who are legal residents of the 50 United States (excluding, without limitation, The District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and other US territories) that have purchased an MGI Rate and Recoil Reducing Buffer.  View the contest launch video below for more information.

      It really does look that way. I first saw it at a local range but I’ve yet to play around with one myself. I’m honestly a little concerned about the durability but it may very well be rock solid. I should see if they have a T&E program and check it out further.
