Cascadia Armament Design QDSP Mod1

Last December we had the AR-15 rifle from our 2010 Precision Rifle Raffle on display at a local gun show.  One of the people who stopped by our table asked me if I was familiar with Cascadia Armament Design and their aftermarket Quick Disconnect Sling Plate upgrades for the Magpul PRS Stock.  This was the first time I had head about the product so I wrote myself a note and checked it out when I got home.

In a nutshell, the Cascadia Armament Design QDSP Mod1 adds the ability to use QD connectors on your PRS stock by replacing the standard sling plates with a modified plate.  The QDSP Mod1 maintains a low profile and the same kind of round corners as the stock PRS sling plates.  They are precision CNC machined using billet 6061-T6 aluminum and have a Type III anodized coating for years of use.

To be honest, this product is so simple that there really isn’t much more we can tell you about it that is not obvious in the photos.  Check out the pics and video then head over to Cascadia Armament Design’s website for ordering info.

I have these on my PRS… Great product and very friendly company to order from. If you have a PRS and need to attach a sling, this is the way to go….

Are they even in business anymore? Their website is sketchy, with information only (no way to order). All I read about for recent posts on this company is that they don’t correspond after the order and orders don’t come in. That’s a shame, it looked like a good product.

They have an online store that is functioning but yeah, their site could use some help for sure.

Do you screw in a stud or does it work like a flush cup?

      Hi Joe,

The QD just snaps into the cup.

Wow, nice part. I’d love to get me one or two, but there’s no way to order them, and the website has no contact e-mail. Anybody know where to buy them?

The website has a store but it looks like they are now on Mod 3 and no longer carry the Mod 1. If you want a Mod 3, click on the picture of the product on their site and it says they have 349 of them in stock and gives you an add to cart button.

Does anyone still sell this? They don’t have it at the Cascadia website.
