Hey all,
We are getting down to the wire for the 2010 American Heroes Challenge. We have made some great improvements over last year to make it much more spectator friendly. This year we have a greater number of teams from a variety of backgrounds, mil, LE, Coast Guard, DOE, etc… The Challenge has moved locations to the new Clark County Shooting Park and will take place November 6 & 7. Once again, all proceeds from the Challenge go to the construction of the Las Vegas Veterans Memorial. Like last year we will have a vendor village and more opportunities for the public to shoot demo guns for a charitable donation. There will also be demonstrations from Striking Unlimited and Progressive F.O.R.C.E. Concepts, military and LE display vehicles, a climbing wall and kids area, food vendors and more. The final design (chosen from 250 submissions) for the Las Vegas Veterans Memorial will be on display. We have completely redesigned all of the stages of competition to make them different from last year. Also, like last year, it is open and free to the public. Events like this don’t happen on their own and I am searching for volunteers to assist the weekend of the event. If you have any interest in volunteering or general questions regarding the Challenge please contact me at ernie@americanshooters.com or my cell# 702-292-7298.
Hope to see you all there!!

702Shooter.com will not only be covering this event but we will also have a table in the sponsor/vendor area. We are finalizing the build for the Precision Rifle Raffle and hope to have the completed rifle on display at this event. We will also be selling raffle tickets at that time.
The proceeds from this raffle will benefit the Las Vegas Veteran’s Memorial.
Many different people and companies have stepped forward to offer support for our project and we appreciate them all very much.
Looking forward to this years event!
