Dan Coonan first introduced his .357 Magnum 1911 many years ago. At one point, he sold the company and after some time, the new owners filed bankruptcy which gave Dan the chance to buy some of the company back. He sat on it for awhile until a chance meeting led to a discussion which, in the end, convinced Dan to reopen the doors and start producing the Coonan .357 again. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the product but it certainly is something different to add to a gun collection.
