Dwight Van Brunt – Kimber
Dwight Van Brunt introduces us to Kimber’s new line of pistols. These includes the Solo 9mm which Dwight describes as an ultra compact 6+1 17oz pistol with a 2.7″ barrel. This pistol is specifically designed to shoot high pressure defense ammunition. Many features of this pistol are ambidextrous.
The new Ultra Plus CDP II offers a compact weapon with a 3″ barrel but the “plus” indicates a full size grip which is more often found on full size 1911’s. The Super Carry HD is the new steel frame version of the Super Carry which includes all the bells and whistles as the standard SC pistol.
