TeludyneTechAlanAdolphsen 200x355 Teludyne Tech Industries StraightJacket Barrel System at 2012 Shot ShowOn day 4 of Shot, as I was sitting at a table going over the list of vendors and wondering what to do next, I was approached by a guy who told me to go check out the Teludyne Tech booth if I was interested in seeing a new and exciting product.  Since I was pretty more or less on my way out the door, I decided to make one final stop and see what the big deal was.  I’m very happy I made this decision.

Teludyne Tech has come up with a unique StraightJacket barrel system.  Basically this is a wrapper for barrels which eliminates the harmonic waves thereby increasing accuracy.  But wait!  There’s more!  The wrapper also sucks the heat right out of your barrel helping increase consistency.  Long Range competitors should especially benefit from this product since it will keep your barrel cooler for longer periods of time.  They have H.P. White lab tests to back up their claims.

MSRP ranges from $399 to $599.
