Missing Costco Surveillance Video Brings 25k Bounty

Erik Scott’s brother, Kevin, here.  Just wanted to inform everyone that we’ve taken Erik’s life insurance money to offer a $25,000 reward for the Costco surveillance video.  I need to confirm it but one of our cousins said he’d match that amount for a total of $50,000.  Put your investigative hats on and see if you can help us dig up an unaltered copy of this most important piece of evidence.

We’re convinced that the video exists.  The Coroner’s Inquest revealed a lot of discrepancies that make it clear video did exist at one point.  Also, why didn’t the DA show video that the helicopter overhead was rolling?  Why haven’t any cell video or still pictures turned up?  Any video or photographic evidence would show he had a Blackberry in his hand, not a gun.

Lastly, people seem to want to know why we’ve filed a civil suit.  The answer is simple – that’s the only legal way we can get some answers.  By subpoenaing evidence, we’ll start to get somewhere.  And why would a lawyer help us do this?  Because, like any good lawyer, Ross Goodman took our case on contingency which means he gets a large chunk of any settlement.  Trust me, this isn’t about money, this is about the truth.  It’s up to the DA to file criminal charges but apparently the Coroner’s Inquest didn’t dig up enough “facts” for him to push for this…just like the last 34 years of Inquests.  Batting 1000 still.  So, the civil filing is our only option.

Thanks for your help!

Kevin Scott
